Two students, Geetashree Sharma and Sanshita Baruah, served as Jorhat's District Commissioner (DC) and Additional District Commissioner (ADC) for a day on Saturday. Both were winners of an essay competition conducted as a part of the 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' programme. The symbolic appointment aimed to promote leadership and administrative awareness among young students, especially girls.
