A 61-year-old man with severe ARDS and chronic kidney disease was successfully treated at Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi, Mumbai, using V-V ECMO. His condition worsened despite oxygen therapy, ventilation, and dialysis, prompting ECMO support. After gradual lung recovery, ECMO was withdrawn, and he improved with continued dialysis, physiotherapy, and critical care teamwork.
