A Deezer-Ipsos survey showed that 97% of listeners can't distinguish between AI-generated and human-composed songs. Surveying 9,000 participants across eight countries, 73% of respondents urged disclosure when AI tracks are recommended, 45% sought filtering options and 40% said they'd skip AI-generated songs entirely. Around 71% were surprised at their inability to discern between such tracks.
