AIIMS New Delhi has been designated by WHO as a 'Pandemic Preparedness and Emergency Response Network Site.' Under the leadership of Dr. Puneet Mishra, this center will help in rapid data collection during future pandemics and in improving public health policies. Only five institutions have been selected across 11 SEARO countries, and AIIMS is one of them.
