Experts at a two-day National Conclave and Policy Dialogue on Tuberculosis (TB) organised by the AIIMS Guwahati charted a roadmap for genomic testing-based TB elimination. Assam Health Minister Ashok Singhal reaffirmed the state’s commitment to a “TB Mukt Bharat,” while AIIMS Director Dr Ashok Puranik said genomic testing marks the next frontier in precision public health.
