Rajasthan's tie-dye industry, though globally popular, wastes huge water volumes. To address this, 62-year-old Teja Ram Mali from Ajmer created a low-cost water recycling system using filtration tanks and soak pits for groundwater recharge. Implemented in Kaladera, it now saves 10 lakh litres per unit annually, aiding dyeing, farming, and drinking while combating severe water scarcity.
