Four Indians namely Koneru Humpy, Harika Dronavalli, Divya Deshmukh and R. Vaishali, continued their stellar run and advanced to the quarterfinals at the ongoing FIDE Women’s World Cup 2025 happening at Batumi in Georgia. Divya knocked out the second seed, China's Zhu Jiner, while Humpy beat the former World Champion, Russian-Swiss GM Alexandra Kosteniuk.
