Another 23-year-old woman survivor has filed a complaint against suspended Kerala Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil, accusing him of sexual assault and breaking marriage promise in 2023. The complaint was emailed to Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Sunny Joseph, who forwarded it to the state police chief. Notably, Mamkootathil, who is already booked in a rape case, is absconding.
