Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Tuesday wrote to Centre, seeking permission for artificial rain via cloud seeding, as pollution rose to severe+ category in the national capital. "Centre must take the lead by convening a meeting involving experts from IIT Kanpur who have conducted extensive research on artificial rain," said Rai in a press conference.
