An army doctor successfully saved the life of a 75-year-old man mid-flight by recognising and treating the signs of hypoglycemia, which can be life-threatening if not treated in time. The incident occurred on a flight from Chennai to Guwahati when the passenger started showing symptoms of low blood sugar, like profuse sweating, a feeble pulse, and cold extremities.
