Former Australia batter David Boon will join Cricket Australia (CA) after the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 from March 28 onwards and relinquish his current position as an ICC match referee to take up the new role. The 64-year-old is the chairperson of the Cricket Tasmania board and will represent the body in CA, replacing Paul Green.
