Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah responded after BJP criticised him for not mentioning his Deputy DK Shivakumar's name at the Mysore conference on Saturday, calling the omission an "insult". "It's tradition to welcome those present at the program. Since [he]...wasn't present...his name wasn't taken, so there's no question of insulting him," he clarified, adding BJP intends to create a rift between them.
