At the TMC conference on Thursday, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee alleged, "BJP is manipulating voters' list with the blessings of the Election Commission is very much clear". She questioned Gyanesh Kumar's appointment as Chief Election Commissioner, claiming BJP is "trying to influence" the constitutional body. Banerjee warned of "indefinite protest" if voter rolls aren't corrected.
