Ex-Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was ordered by court to wear an electronic ankle tag and placed under curfew over fears that he may flee the country while standing trial. Bolsonaro has been accused of plotting a coup to keep him in power after 2022 elections. US President Donald Trump had recently urged that criminal charges against Bolsonaro should be dropped.
