A candidate named Amitabh Bachchan, who was fighting from the Barh Assembly seat in Bihar, lost by 98,106 votes. He was contesting from the Rashtriya Sanatan Party. The seat was won by Siyaram Singh of the BJP. NDA is poised to form the government in Bihar as it registered one of its best-ever performances in the state.
