A Chinese automaker's attempt to drive up the famed "Heaven’s Staircase" at Tianmen Mountain ended in failure on Wednesday, causing damage to the historic structure. A video shows the vehicle attempting to climb the 999-step 'Sky Ladder', but the steep, narrow steps caused it to slip backwards, crashing into and breaking parts of the monument's barrier.
