Congress is heading for one of its worst performances in elections as trends show the party leading on just five seats in the Bihar Assembly elections. Notably, Congress is contesting Bihar elections in alliance with RJD under the Mahagathbandhan, and it has been allotted 61 seats. Meanwhile, the BJP-led NDA is leading on 201 seats in the 243-seat Bihar Assembly.
