A 39-year-old construction worker was killed on Sunday evening after a speeding car struck him while he was crossing National Highway 44 near Devanahalli. The victim, identified as Pintu Paswan, succumbed to his injuries while being taken to a private hospital. Police have arrested the driver for causing death by negligence.
