Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticised Delhi government over its cloud seeding experiment for improving air quality. Ramesh said the experiment was a "cruel joke" and a "headline-grabbing measure". He added the Central Pollution Control Board and IMD had advised against cloud seeding. He further claimed that the Delhi government spent ₹34 crore on the cloud seeding experiment.
