Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge called the blast in Delhi a "failure of the government". "It was unfortunate that such an incident happened in the national capital where top agencies including Intelligence Bureau function. Culprits must be punished severely so others should be afraid of doing it," he added. The blast happened near Delhi's Red Fort, claiming lives of 12 people.
