Dr Neeraj Kamat explained the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest. He stated that a heart attack is caused by blocked arteries, while cardiac arrest stops the heart instantly. He added that 80 percent of such incidents occur outside hospitals and that CPR is vital.
