US stock futures edged higher Wednesday as investors awaited the House vote on a key spending bill to end the record 43-day government shutdown. Dow futures rose 0.14% and S&P 500 futures 0.35% after the Senate cleared the measure Monday. Once approved, the bill will head to President Trump for his signature. Asian markets closed broadly higher.
