The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has busted a major e-cigarette smuggling racket at the VO Chidambaranar Port (formerly Tuticorin Port) in Tamil Nadu. Officials seized 45,984 e-cigarettes valued at ₹10.41 crore from a container, which was being imported from China under the guise of having umbrellas. Three people have been arrested in connection with the case.
