Enforcement Directorate has summoned Google and Meta for questioning over allegedly promoting online betting apps. The notices were sent in connection with the ongoing ED investigation into betting apps, which are accused of fraud, including money laundering. ED alleged that Google and Meta contributed to the illicit operations of these apps by providing them with ad slots on their platforms.
