Overseas vacations for Indians have become up to 20% costlier for the April-June period compared with the same period last year, TOI reported. Falling rupee and increased hotel tariffs made overseas vacations costlier, with tour operators passing this hike to travellers. A 15-day Europe tour (excluding UK, visa & flights) which cost ₹1.95 lakh last year now costs ₹2.25 lakh.
