The higher reaches of Kashmir, including Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Pahalgam, received moderate to heavy fresh snowfall on Thursday. North Kashmir's Kupwara and Shopian also saw snowfall. Meanwhile, the valley's plains received rainfall. Due to snow accumulation, several inter-district roads, including the Srinagar-Leh Highway, were closed, officials said.
