Google has filed a lawsuit against an international cybercrime ring known as the Smishing Triad, which it says is behind a massive SMS phishing campaign. The group, operating primarily out of China, used a phishing-as-a-service toolkit called Lighthouse to send fake texts impersonating brands like E-ZPass, USPS, and Google, according to CNBC.
