NITI Aayog panel revoked Quality Control Orders (QCOs) on 14 raw materials and capital goods, reports stated, citing official sources. The orders covered chemicals and plastics sectors and the textile division, which is under stress over cancellation of US-bound export orders. NITI Aayog suggested suspending QCOs on 112 products and deferring QCOs on remaining 69 upcoming QCOs product categories.
