Health Ministry has extended tenure of PG residents (2022-25 batch) due to delays in NEET PG 2025 counselling. The move aims to prevent staffing gaps until new residents join. The MCC (Medical Counselling Committee), NMC (National Medical Commission) and NBE (National Board of Examinations) are revising PG seat matrix after adding and withdrawing seats, further delaying the counselling process.
