In a rare and open celebration of polyandry, brothers Pradeep and Kapil Negi from Shillai village in Himachal's Sirmaur married Sunita Chauhan from nearby Kunhat village. The ceremony, held with mutual consent, follows centuries-old Hattee tradition where brothers share a wife. Pradeep, who works with Jal Shakti Department, and Kapil, employed abroad, jointly participated in the wedding rituals.
