China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) spokeswoman Li Chao has warned about the risk of bubbles in the humanoid robot industry. Chao noted that China currently has over 150 companies in the sector. The nation must prevent a flood of "highly similar" models from overwhelming the market and squeezing out space for research and development, she said.
