A 20-year-old man from Yakutpura, Hyderabad, lost ₹1 lakh in a Telegram honeytrap scam. A fraudster posing as a sex worker used fake photos and reviews to extract payments, later demanding more money. Realising he had been tricked, the youth filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police. Investigation into the case is currently underway.
