India and Bhutan announced the establishment of an immigration check-post at Hatisar in Assam during PM Narendra Modi's two-day visit to the neighbouring country. The move aims to ease movement for investors and tourists heading to Bhutan's upcoming Gelephu Mindfulness City, a Special Administrative Region (SAR). The two nations also reaffirmed cooperation in energy, connectivity, and development.
