The Indian box office has earned total of ₹5,723 crore in the first half of 2025 and marked an impressive 14% year-on-year growth, concluded Ormax Media's report. The report further stated that 17 films crossed the ₹100 crore mark with only one film, 'Chhaava' grossing ₹693 crore. June 2025 alone contributed over ₹900 crore to the tally.
