Innoviz shares rose 15% premarket after Daimler chose its InnovizTwo Short-Range LiDAR for Level 4 autonomous Freightliner Cascadia trucks. The sensors will work with Torc Robotics virtual driver to support commercial deployment across North America. Torc said Innoviz provides the reliability and redundancy needed for safe autonomy. Innoviz had hinted at a major OEM deal in September.
