Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu issued an apology in a phone call with Pope Leo following the recent shelling of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza, which killed three people and injured at least 10 others. Netanyahu called the attack a "stray ammunition" incident and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said the matter is under review.
