Andhra Pradesh Police, in a 305-page chargesheet on the alleged ₹3,500 crore liquor scam, named ex-CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as one of the recipients of the kickbacks averaging ₹50-60 crore per month. The court is yet to take cognisance of the chargesheet. "The alleged liquor scam is nothing but a manufactured narrative, created purely for media theatrics," Jagan said.
