JD(U)'s Leshi Singh has won from Bihar's Dhamdaha assembly constituency, defeating RJD's Santosh Kumar by over 55,000 votes. AIMIM's Mohd Ishtiyaque Alam and Jan Suraaj's Rakesh Kumar remained way behind in the race. This will be Leshi's 4th consecutive term as Dhamdaha MLA. She was also Minister for Food and Consumer Protection in the Nitish Kumar-led Government of Bihar.
