The Karnataka government has formed a Special Investigation Team to probe alleged incidents of murder, rape and missing women cases spanning over two decades in Dharmasthala. It'll investigate not only the present case but also all related cases registered or to be registered with police across the state. An individual earlier confessed to "burying hundreds of bodies" in the area.
