Meghalaya has released ₹130 crore as the final instalment of the 2024–25 post-matric scholarship, benefitting nearly 70,000 students. CM Conrad K Sangma said the state advanced the full amount without waiting for Central funds to prevent delays. He urged students to ensure Aadhaar-linked bank accounts for smooth disbursement.
