Director Mohit Suri opened up about casting Aneet Padda in Saiyaara, her first lead role opposite Ahaan Panday. "One thing that was scary was that I wanted someone young, around 20 to 22 years old, who hadn't done anything cosmetically to her face or body in today's age," he said. Mohit shared that it took 5 months to cast her.
