More than 1,000 Syrians died in detention at a military airport under ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, a report claimed on Thursday. The Syria Justice and Accountability Centre's report claimed that people were killed by execution, torture or maltreatment on the outskirts of Damascus. Shadi Haroun, who was among the captives, said 'death came in many forms'.
