Maharashtra's Thane district has launched a new QR code system to help voters find out about polling stations. "Initiative aims to enhance voter convenience and participation, particularly as Election Commission raised concerns regarding low voter turnout in Thane and Kalyan regions," Thane collector Ashok Shingare said. Voting on 288 seats in Maharashtra will be held on November 20.
