BJP accused Congress' Rahul Gandhi of fuelling "Naxalite sympathies" and alleged that Naxal insurgency in India reached alarming proportions "largely due to policy paralysis" during UPA-II government. BJP further said a "significant factor" for this was the influence of National Advisory Council (NAC) headed by Sonia Gandhi. The party said that NAC included members sympathetic to Naxal ideology.
