The Supreme Court suggested that the Centre consider banning high-end luxury petrol and diesel vehicles as a starting point for India’s transition to electric mobility. It said, "Very high-end VIPs are still using these gas guzzler cars...Think of imposing a ban on [these] vehicles first."
