A self-styled godman has been booked in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district for subjecting villagers to abusive rituals under the guise of spiritual healing. The accused Sanjay Pagare claimed to possess supernatural powers and beat his followers with sticks and made them shove their own shoes into their mouths. He also force them to drink his urine, calling it spiritual treatment.
