A study published in Acta Psychologica found that senior managers with higher levels of narcissism and psychopathy are more prone to quiet quit. According to the study, people with these traits have greater sense of entitlement and feel less guilt about holding back when their expectations aren't met. Quiet quitting refers to employees doing only basic requirements of their job.
