South Korea's HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) is reportedly planning to set up a shipyard in India. According to reports, delegation from HHI visited Thoothukudi and Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu this month and spoke with L&T about potential collaboration at the latter's Kattupalli shipyard. It further mentioned that Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra are also actively competing to host the shipyard.
