Michael Burry, the famed 'The Big Short' investor who predicted the 2008 housing crisis, has called Tesla's market capitalisation "ridiculously overvalued". Tesla dilutes its shareholders at about 3.6% per year with no buybacks, and CEO Elon Musk's $1 trillion pay plan will make it worse, Burry said. Burry's hedge fund shorted about $530 million of Tesla stock in 2021.
