Farmers in Kerala’s Idukki district on Sunday morning found a tiger and a stray dog trapped together in a deep pit, according to officials. Both animals remained trapped for many hours, but the tiger did not attack the dog. Later, the forest department tranquilised both animals and pulled them out unhurt of the pit using a net.
